Online Therapy for Building Confidence
Anxiety
Anxiety is characterised by feeling worried often, finding it hard to stop the worrying once it starts, and feeling physically tense. You might also notice other physical changes such as struggling to sleep, not feeling rested, or feeling on edge. This level of worrying may contribute to heightened stress levels, hinder the enjoyment of daily life, and make it harder for you to relax. At Onebright, we offer expert online therapy for anxiety that aims to help you manage your symptoms.
Depression
Depression is a mood disorder that is somewhat different to feeling sad and can vary between people. Often, those who are affected by depression feel low or flat, with these feelings lasting for two weeks or longer. Depression is often accompanied by other symptoms, such as loss of appetite, trouble sleeping, or feeling very tired and demotivated. People will usually have many negative thoughts about themselves and things going on around them.
Stress
Stress is a natural human response that prompts individuals to address challenges and threats in their lives. Everyone experiences stress to some degree. Stress can come with a range of emotions, including anxiety and irritability. When stressed, individuals may find it difficult to concentrate and experience bodily symptoms such as headaches, pains and an upset stomach. Trouble sleeping and loss of appetite (or eating more than usual) also typically feature.
"If there was a rating of 11, I would have given it. My therapist is brilliant at what she does, I was helped to totally change my outlook on my issue and the consequences."

Booking your assessment

Therapy can be extremely beneficial, whether you’re struggling with anxiety, depression or stress.
All our therapy assessments and sessions are carried out online. Here are the steps and how they work.

Step 1

Get in touch with Onebright

Once you have submitted your details through the enquiry form, a member of Onebright’s Client Liaison team will call you to discuss your requirements, booking you into a clinical assessment within 2 working days, at a convenient time. We’ll match you with the right clinician for your needs. We’ll set up your first appointment, at a time that works well for you.

Step 2

Meet your therapist

At the end of your initial assessment, your therapist will talk to you about your treatment plan: how it will work, what to expect and how long it may take. They will identify the issues you’re struggling with and set some targets for getting to a positive end-point.

Your treatment will be based on practice in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT). Once you have a full picture of how your therapy sessions will work, you can decide if it’s for you.

Step 3

Agree your ideal plan

If your answer to therapy is ‘yes’, we’ll organise a treatment schedule that’s designed for your needs, at times that suit you. If you and your therapist agree that psychological therapy isn’t the right approach, we’ll take the time to discuss why, and suggest an alternative.

We're here to answer your questions

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) is a talking therapy that can help you cope by making you more aware of the connection between your thoughts, feelings and behaviour. It focuses on challenging unhelpful beliefs, attitudes and behaviours.

Quality Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) stands out from other forms of therapy or types of counselling because of the emphasis on evidence-based practice. For our clients, this means that they are receiving quality conventional professional therapy based on the very latest research.

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy is a way of helping people to cope with stress and emotional problems. It helps us to look at the connections between how we think, how we feel and how we behave. It particularly concentrates on ideas that are unrealistic. These often undermine our self-confidence and make us feel depressed or anxious. Looking at these unrealistic ideas can help us work out different ways of thinking and behaving that in turn will help us cope better. Cognitive Behavioural Therapy looks at how problems from the past are maintained in the “here and now”. It helps people to learn new methods of coping and problem-solving, which they can use for the rest of their lives.
We are proud to report a recovery rate of 87%. This exceeds the industry standard recovery rate of 52%.

An accredited cognitive-behavioural psychotherapist will have had training as a qualified registered healthcare professional before undertaking advanced cognitive behavioural psychotherapy training. Online therapy can occur in real-time, through live video chat, in our easy-to-use, secure and convenient centralised web application. You can schedule a session with your therapist in the future, look over past session notes and utilise our clinically-led resources in-between sessions.
