Psychiatry referrals
Who can refer
We accept referrals from GPs, paediatricians, schools, mental health charities and other professionals such as psychologists and psychotherapists. If you would like to self-refer, please use our contact form and a member of the team will get back to you.
What we need
Wherever possible we request a referral letter from a professional that knows your needs, although self-referrals are accepted. After the assessment your GP will need to be informed by the psychiatrist of the outcome of the assessment. The psychiatrist may need to ask the other GP or another doctor to carry out investigations or further treatment.
