We're Hiring: Work for Onebright
We need you responding to the UK’s mental health surge.
“I have now left my NHS therapist role to work with Onebright – I feel that after 25 years in the NHS, I am finally able to do the role that I was trained to do.”
As we expand our service, we need you to do the job you were trained to do! The UK is currently in the eye of the storm of a mental health crisis. Bereavement, isolation, loss of income and fear are triggering mental health conditions or exacerbating existing ones. As a result of Covid-19, the number of those suffering from mental health issues is at an all-time high. Now compounded by lockdown, social distancing, and the closure of support services, those experiencing mental health issues see their primary support systems disappearing, dramatically impacting their wellbeing.
As we see growth in new and existing contracts, Onebright has accelerated its recruitment drive to bring on 25-40 new therapists in the next six months. This action is vital to get to grips with new work and the soaring numbers helping those in need across the UK.
“Onebright is a really progressive organisation, and it is so refreshing.”
We are calling all BABCP therapists* to get in touch to tackle this mental health crisis together. Join us! But why choose Onebright? In a nutshell: we know we are only as good as our therapists we nurture.
Here, our Clinical Director Lee Grant highlights the benefits of joining his team.
The drive to make a difference
I aim to lead the best clinical team. Our goal is to deliver a unique service by combining flexibility, choice of location and preference to our clients. One of the greatest rewards of being a cognitive behavioural therapist is the ability to directly impact clients’ lives, leading to happier and healthier lives. We are passionate about ethically delivered treatment focusing on the client experience, high-quality therapy and treatment outcomes. Supporting therapists to do their job works: our clients average an 87% recovery rate, compared to the industry standard of 52%. Onebright’s huge focus is the continued support and development we put into our clinical and operational teams. My job is to give you the space to be amazing, how you do that is down to your skills, but collaboratively we work out what you need to get there.
A strong team is crucial.
We pride ourselves on having high standards when hiring clinicians. A therapist with BABCP accreditation is the ‘gold standard’ of CBT, giving our clients the best possible chance of full recovery. Our growing team are experts in the field and put our patients at the centre of everything we do. Our clinicians are collaborators, understanding that the most impactful element of treatment occurs between sessions, making CBT so effective in the long-term. At Onebright, our collaborative, supportive working style means our clients are getting the care they deserve.
“I trust in the process of working with Onebright in all those individuals involved in the organisation.”
Rapid access to support
Deciding to commence CBT is by no means a small feat. To tackle this and ensure clients are seen quickly, we work hard to ensure appointments are available within 48 hours. Our therapists need to be ready and with much needed operational support, clinical supervision and leadership to meet the challenges of getting people better. While we continue to navigate through the pandemic, our therapists can provide Remote Cognitive Behavioural Therapy sessions from the comfort of your home via telephone or digital channels.
“I find working with Onebright a real pleasure. I appreciate the humanism, professionalism and governance systems and support.”
Please specify if you are interested in employment (full or part-time) or network opportunities.
* If you are eligible for BABCP accreditation (e.g. practising as a CBT therapist with a post-graduate qualification in CBT), we can support you with accreditation – get in contact and see how we can help you!
