An overarching framework

Our integrated governance framework ensures robust systems are in place for managing quality and foreseeing any problems that may arise across our work. We have embedded this approach into the DNA of our business, from clinical assurance and safeguarding, through to data protection and back-office functions. Safeguarding your data
Individuals and organisations trust us with their confidential data, so when it comes to information governance, we have taken great care to develop robust controls around managing data. Our approach to data protection ensures we adhere to information security standards (including GDPR obligations and ISO27001) and this supports safeguarding the data we’ve been entrusted with.
Social responsibilities
As an organisation our purpose is to better every life we touch. We look to extend Onebright’s ambition beyond our day to day provision of mental health care by positively impacting wider society. Our social purpose shapes our ESG activities, with focus on supporting initiatives that enable all individuals and communities within society to access mental health services. Onebright also ensures we support our employees with appropriate health and wellbeing tools and benefits.
Environmental responsibilities
Onebright is dedicated to sustaining and improving the environment in which we live and work. We are working towards our ambition of being a net zero company, with policies in place to embrace the use of technology, promote remote working and reducing travel. We’ve also devised other employee and business initiatives to support the environment and to make Onebright a more sustainable organisation.


Our clinical governance team

Donald Fowler
As Onebright’s CEO, Donald is responsible for leading the executive team and ensuring the business delivers on its mission; to create a brighter tomorrow by ensuring easy access to personalised, life changing mental health support.

Donald’s career started as a corporate lawyer followed by almost a decade in the banking and private equity industries. More recently Donald spent 12 years leading an insurances services and medical assessments business, overseeing significant growth and transformation in that time.

Dr Gabrielle Pendlebury
Clinical Director, Psychiatric Services
Gabrielle graduated from St Bartholomew’s and the Royal London Medical School. She undertook her general psychiatry training on the Royal Free Rotation, including a period in Melbourne, Australia, and her specialist training on the Maudsley Rotation. She is a consultant child and adolescent psychiatrist with expertise in forensic adolescent psychiatry and neurodevelopmental disorders. She lectures on these subjects on a number of postgraduate courses and acts as an expert witness.    In her previous role as Medicolegal Consultant she supported and advised doctors in criminal, disciplinary and regulatory matters.

Lee Grant
Clinical Director
As our Clinical Director, Lee designs and oversees service development and is committed to the quality of care across the service for children, adolescents and adults. Lee is a BABCP accredited CBT therapist (practitioner, supervisor and trainer). He has a Fellowship with the Higher Education Academy (FHEA) providing CBT consultancy to universities as a lecturer practitioner and was the Programme Leader for three MScs in CBT. With integrity and compassion, Lee’s areas of interests are supervision, support therapists to be the best they can be and formulating evidence based mental health services in organisations.

Clare Price
Director of Clinical Services
Clare is a mental health nurse by background, an accredited Cognitive Behavioural Therapist and former lecturer on the Post Graduate CBT course at the University of Hull. Having worked in the mental health sector since 1992, Clare has experience across a variety of NHS, third sector and private sector organisations in a wide range of clinical, operational and strategic roles. Clare is responsible for our internal clinical team and the delivery of excellence in clinical services and outcomes for the people we serve. She has designed, developed and implemented a wide range of clinical services and pathways.

Vicky Hodgson
Chief Operating Officer
As Chief Operating Officer, Vicky is responsible for the clinical and operational teams in Onebright ensuring that our services are easily accessible, and our assessors and therapists are able to provide the mental health support to our clients that delivers amazing life changing clinical outcomes. Vicky’s career started in banking before moving into leadership roles in a diverse range of financial services businesses. In her most recent roles Vicky has led operational activities for insurers, ensuring that customers were at the heart of their operations and making service delivery a priority.

Jacqui has significant experience tailoring and delivering rehabilitation solutions within the public and private sectors. Jacqui has in-depth understanding of our chosen markets and our ability to combine local expertise with the broad knowledge of our specialists, enabling her to provide innovative solutions to our clients.

Our robust systems cover everything from clinical risk management and safeguarding, to the professional accreditation of our staff, and how we monitor data about diversity to ensure consistent outcomes across ethnicities.

Our story
The Onebright story started 15 years ago with the launch of CBT Clinics. In 2021, CBT Clinics combined with two other expert mental health providers – Efficacy and Moving Minds – to form Onebright. We are building a new way to deliver mental healthcare for people around the world.
