Behaviour challenges in children: understanding their Behaviour challenges in children: understanding their needs needs

For children and young people

Our services for children

Onebright offer a wide range of psychological therapy services and neurodevelopmental assessments for autism and ADHD. We support children and young people who experience emotional, psychological and neurodevelopmental difficulties.

The goal of evidence-based therapy is to provide positive outcomes for children with mental health difficulties, which can be used for the rest of their lives. It is an effective approach for common emotional problems such as stress, depression, obsessive compulsive disorder and anxiety.

We understand all children’s minds are unique, and whilst neurological differences make us individual, it can also be challenging in school, friendship groups and family environments. Autism and ADHD can affect each child differently, but with the right assessment we will help your family move forward with confidence.

Book therapy for your child
The emotional health and wellbeing of your child is as important as their physical health. Our aim is to address mental health concerns early, enabling your family to enjoy greater mental health and resilience. We understand that every child and teenager in need of mental health support experiences their symptoms differently. So, this is why we conduct an initial mental health assessment: to build a comprehensive picture of the overall mental health of your child, including their strengths, challenges, and areas needing attention.

ADHD and autism assessments
All children’s minds are unique, and while neurological differences such as ADHD and autism make us individual, it can also be challenging in school, friendship groups and family environments. To be able to help your child in the most positive way, you first need to fully understand their neurodevelopmental makeup and needs. ADHD and autism affect each child differently, but with the right assessment we will help your family move forward with confidence, knowing your child can access the support they need to thrive.

We are here to help

Growing numbers of children and young adults are facing mental health challenges, particularly anxiety and depression. At the same time, CAMHS provision has been underfunded and clinical thresholds raised. Services are stretched and NHS waiting times are becoming ever-longer. Onebright is committed to providing an alternative pathway, to help those facing mental distress receive the help they need quickly, while relieving the burden on existing services.

Our cognitive behavioural therapists and wellbeing practitioners are available to treat children and young people across the UK. This means we can match a child or young person with the clinician best suited for their mental health needs.

Our specialist team can also conduct a thorough, expert autism and/or ADHD assessment. We want to help your child in the most positive way, so first we need to fully understand their neurodevelopmental makeup and needs.

We understand how important rapid access to care is and strive to place your loved one into an initial clinical needs assessment within a matter of days.
