Safeguarding

Overview of Onebright Safeguarding Framework

Safeguarding is at the heart of what we do and is fundamental to our existence as a clinical organisation. We are all ambassadors for safeguarding, we have contact with many adults and children who expect us to know what to do if we have concerns about them or anyone else through the course of their journey with Onebright.

Onebright’s safeguarding framework is to help us protect adults and children at risk with commitment and confidence. Our policies set out our approach to safeguarding children and adults at risk. It applies to everyone working with Onebright or acting on their behalf and provides the context to help us safeguard children and adults at risk with commitment and confidence.

Our Safeguarding framework and policies enable us to take responsibility for keeping adults, children and young people safe, minimise risk and comply with legislation and national guidance.

Onebright’s safeguarding framework and polices cover the following areas:

  • safer recruitment process including enhanced DBS or (Access NI and Scotland PVG)
  • safer staff
  • child protection and protecting young adults at risk
  • adults at risk and vulnerable adults
