Onebright shortlisted for HSJ Partnership Awards
Nominated in the ‘Best Healthcare Provider Partnership’ category, expert cognitive behavioural therapists, Onebright has been shortlisted as finalists for the prestigious HSJ Partnership Awards 2019.
Taking place 20th March at London’s Park Plaza in Westminster, the HSJ Partnership Awards celebrate the strongest and most effective partnerships between the private, third sector and the NHS.
The awards showcase how projects and organisations such as Onebright are able to change the lives of patients through their dedicated work with NHS teams.
As an organisation with expert CBT Therapists, who are all accredited by the BABCP, Onebright boasts an 87 percent recovery rate for people who complete therapy with them and guarantee a flexible and rapid service for all of their patients. The HSJ Partnership Awards actively seek organisations that hold these values high on their priority list
Discussing this year’s shortlisted projects, HSJ Editor Alastair McLellan said “The HSJ Partnership Awards highlights the invaluable work performed by the organisations that work alongside the NHS to deliver first class patient care, shining a spotlight on their efforts which are often unseen but are essential. Each of the shortlisted organisations is delivering tangible benefits to NHS patients, clinicians and the facilities they use, making a real difference in these challenging economic times.”
Having been launched by founder Lee Grant in 2003, Onebright is now the largest, leading CBT therapy service in London and around the UK. Now operating as Clinical Director, Mr. Grant strongly believes in the importance of providing exceptional CBT services that are inspired by the latest academic research and based on best practice.
“At the forefront of my mind are the personal stories behind the headlines. In a high-pressure professional group, the knock-on effects of their recovery has far-reaching consequences for their careers, families and their own patients. We meet GPs, hospital doctors and dentists, that for many years have found it impossible to access mental health services, which is particularly understandable if they refer, liaise or sometime commission the local services. We find that with the right intervention at the right time almost all our patients are making a full recovery. Interestingly they are getting equally better with traditional face to face CBT and remote online interventions; I am not saying it is easy but their recovery and its consequences are priceless.” Stated Mr Grant.
In addition to the sharing of best practice and stakeholder involvement, the HSJ Partnership Awards judging panel evaluating each organisation’s patient experience, and innovative approaches their services at the forefront of their decision making.
For Onebright, this nomination marks an exciting start to 2019. Having just launched their new online chat feature last week, the organisation is particularly committed to driving innovation through their services. This new chat feature allows prospective patients who go to directly speak to a member of Onebright’s team, therefore allowing patients to speak to them from any device at any time.
Commenting on Onebright’s nomination, Director of Clinical and Business Operations, Shamira Graham said
” I am really delighted to be shortlisted for the HSJ Partnership Award and very proud of the Onebright team. We have worked closely with PHP over the years to develop our partnership relationship and so we are thrilled that this has been recognised by an organisation as prestigious as the HSJ. We have worked to embed a transparent and collaborative partnering relationship between both the clinical and operational teams which has enabled us to achieve our shared objective of supporting and treating the mental health of GP’s.”
