Our executive team

As CEO of the Onebright Group, Donald is responsible for the strategy, performance and leadership of the group’s three companies, each operating in the mental healthcare and neurodiversity sectors with a strong commitment to delivering clinical excellence and evidence-based care.

Donald is responsible for setting and driving the overall group vision and strategic direction as well as supporting the Group’s Executive Teams to deliver on their key goals. Donald has overseen significant growth and transformation since he took on the CEO role in January 2022, having originally joined Onebright in a non-executive capacity in 2020.

Donald’s career started as a corporate lawyer followed by almost a decade in the banking and private equity industries. Donald joined Onebright in 2020, following 12 years leading an insurance services and medical assessments business.

As Onebright’s Managing Director, Vicky is responsible for leading the executive team and ensuring the business delivers on its mission; to create a brighter tomorrow by ensuring easy access to personalised, life changing mental health support.

In her most recent role as Onebright’s Chief Operating Officer Vicky led the clinical and operational teams ensuring that our services are easily accessible, and our clinical therapists provide the best mental health support to our clients and businesses, delivering amazing life changing clinical outcomes.

Vicky’s earlier career started in banking, before moving into leadership roles in financial services and insurance.

As CFO of the Onebright Group, Colin is responsible for the strategic financial planning and financial governance across the group, supporting the Group CEO in developing and driving the group's business strategy and working with the Finance Directors, and other members of the leadership teams of the group's companies, to ensure successful delivery against business goals.

Colin qualified as a Chartered Accountant with PricewaterhouseCoopers, gaining experience in audit, transaction services and corporate finance advisory.

Since leaving PwC, Colin has held Finance Director and CFO positions in a number of privately owned and private equity-backed businesses in the healthcare, consumer goods and retail sectors.

Shamira has been working in mental health research and clinical practice for over 20 years. She is a passionate mental health specialist providing mental health solutions, designing clinical pathways and building innovative evidence based mental health propositions for corporate organisations and large insurers at scale. These incorporate assessments, psychiatry, psychological therapy, and counselling pathways for both adults and children and young people, whilst always ensuring patient care and patient experience is optimised. As a practicing clinician, Shamira delivers clinical services and specialist consultancy shaping wellbeing, mental health training, and organisational performance solutions. She has extensive experience working with global professional services companies delivering consultancy, specialist training and corporate insights delivering benefits to people and organisations.

As Chief Technology Officer, Paco is responsible for delivering our vision to continuously innovate and facilitate our client journey to provide life changing therapy. Applying fintech patterns from his earlier career, he is determined to amplify the human factor that makes Onebright an indisputable industry leader in delivering data driven, evidence based therapy, and a clinically led service. Bringing in technology to improve client satisfaction and clinical outcomes whilst uncompromisingly guarding data security and client privacy is his key mission.

Ed has spent over a decade supporting growth businesses across the healthcare space and is passionate about delivering Onebright’s mission to improve access to life-changing mental health support. As Chief Strategy Officer, he is responsible for ensuring we continue to innovate and evolve our services to meet our clients’ needs both today and in the future. He leads strategy development, strategic projects, and M&A activity across the group. Prior to joining Onebright in 2020, Ed worked as a strategy consultant supporting investors and management teams to deliver sustainable growth and impact.

Professor Spada leads and oversees the delivery and governance of the company’s clinical services. His role enables Onebright to continue to improve access to and outcomes from existing clinical pathways as well as drive the development of new specialist pathways. He remains Emeritus Professor at London South Bank University.

As Finance Director for Onebright, Sarah is responsible for functions including financial reporting, planning and analysis and the financial administration of the business, working with internal and external stakeholders to deliver value creation and effective financial governance. Joining Onebright in 2022, Sarah leverages her earlier experience with financial reporting and forecasting, within a proven track record of delivering within a fast-paced PE backed environment. She is a dynamic financial leader with a passion for personal growth and challenging environment.
