Step 1 - Applying for your Access NI

Welcome to the Onebright new sponsoring service for obtaining an enhanced Access NI through our partner organisation, Security Watchdog.

Click here to download the application form.

Then Click here to create an NI Access account / login to an existing account.

Once you have successfully created an account/logged in, you will be taken to an online application form.

In step 1 of the form, enter the PIN – 6 7 7 8 7 5

Complete the remainder of the form and click on “Confirm and Proceed” to finish the online process.

You will then be given a 10 digit Access NI reference number, which needs to be added to the initial downloaded application form.

Please call Security Watchdog on 01420 556006 to make payment for the check. Let them know you are applying through Onebright.
Email this completed application form – along with your Identity documents (see step 2 below) to DBS@onebright.com

Please note: You are responsible for payment for your application.

Step 2 - Proving your identity

As Onebright has a remote working relationship with clinicians on our network, we require proof of your identity before we can verify your identity for the Access NI request to proceed.

Proof of identity can be provided in two ways:

1. Complete our Identity Checking Form and return to Onebright at DBS@onebright.com  (Free of charge).                         

Or

2. Take the relevant documents to the post office and use their document certification service and e-mail the certified documents (see page 10 of the Identity checking form for the list of acceptable documents) to Onebright at DBS@onebright.com (Cost is subject to change, but circa £12.75).

Once we receive the relevant documents, we will verify your identity and your application will be processed. You will be provided with a copy of the certificate and Onebright will be notified of completion. You will then be able to share a copy of the certificate to demonstrate compliance with our safeguarding policy.

This is currently a pilot service and we would be grateful for any constructive feedback to enable us to refine the process and make it as streamlined as possible for all of you.
