Onebright Group acquires digital mental health platform, Mindstep
Onebright Group Ltd, the UK’s largest private outpatient mental healthcare and neurodevelopmental services provider, has acquired Mindstep, a digital mental health platform, for an undisclosed sum, creating the UK’s first digitally led and fully integrated end-to-end wellbeing, mental healthcare and neurodevelopmental service.
The addition of Mindstep to the Onebright Group enables the creation of a unique end-to-end continuum of care with Mindstep’s digital screening, triage and adaptive self-care content supplementing the Group’s existing clinical assessment, psychological therapy, psychiatry and neurodevelopmental services.
Onebright Group can now provide organisations and individuals access to an always-on digital front door for everyday mental health support through personalised self-care tools and clinically validated mental health assessments. Where appropriate, the fully personalised digital journey can guide individuals directly into the Group’s clinical assessment and mental health treatment services or neurodevelopmental assessment services, or both.
Founded by Dr Aaron Lin and Dr Hamzah Selim, who have this year been named in Forbes 30 Under 30 for Science and Healthcare, the Mindstep platform is a Class I medical device regulated by the MHRA. Dr Lin and Dr Selim are continuing with the business and joining the Onebright Group senior leadership team.
