He moved to One Bright in a full-time position as Senior Therapist in 2018.
Mirco has experience of providing CBT for depression and anxiety disorders (OCD, PTSD, Generalised Anxiety Disorder, Panic Attacks, Social Phobia) and for those who are experiencing difficulties with substances or problematic behaviours (in regards to web-based gaming, gambling, sex, eating). He often works with patients who will have created unhealthy habits to self-medicate the adverse effects of protracted stress.
Mirco has a particular interest in exploring the role of alcohol and substances in maintaining the cycle of depression and anxiety. In his previous NHS role, he has developed a therapy plan for those abusing stimulants and New Psychoactive Substances (ketamine, mephedrone, GHB-GBL, spice). Mirco also has a keen interest in working with those affected by OCD, Generalised Anxiety Disorder and Panic.
