Experience
Kerry has extensive experience providing clinical and operational leadership, specialist psychological consultation and supervision to clinicians, as well as working directly with clients presenting with the most complex disorders.
In addition to her clinical work, Kerry has developed and delivered educational courses, including training in psychological interventions to medical staff and lecturing on psychology doctoral courses. Kerry also has experience of taking psychology into corporate organisations keen to improve their understanding of staff wellbeing.
Kerry has chosen to specialise in working with adults and is a highly experienced clinician with wide-ranging clinical interests and expertise. These include individuals experiencing anxiety disorders, depression, eating disorders, low self-esteem, work-related stress, psychosexual issues and adjustment to chronic physical health conditions. She strives to help individuals understand unhelpful cycles of thinking and behaviour and use this self-awareness to improve their functioning.
In addition to working with individuals, Kerry also works with couples experiencing relationship distress, helping change attitudes and behaviours so that they can function in a fashion more acceptable and satisfying to both.
