Sarah is an experienced clinical psychologist. She joined the team in 2016 initially as a senior therapist and is now part of the governance team. She completed her clinical and further CBT training in the institute of Psychiatry, Psychology and Neuroscience. Sarah has worked in a range of general and specialist settings for the last 8 years. These services include national specialist services for anxiety and trauma, specialist sexual assault services and paediatric oncology services. Sarah is highly skilled at delivering cognitive behavioural therapy, and also has extensive experience in a range of therapeutic modalities such as Acceptance and Commitment therapy.
She enjoys working with clients experiencing a range of presenting difficulties, such as trauma, OCD, anxiety and depression. Her doctoral thesis focused on identifying and mediating trauma for those exposed as an aspect of their occupation.
